Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Church, Concord

Our Vision is to make Christ present in our parish, in our local community and in our world.

Our Mission is to know Christ and to make him known; to be a community committed to discovering Christ present in each person. We proclaim the Gospel through our ministry to each other, our service to the wider community, the joyful celebration of the Eucharist and other sacraments, and our active concern for social justice.

Celebrating our Sesquicentenary 1870 – 2020

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, 26 February. Masses on Ash Wednesday will be at 8.30 am, 10.00 am (St Mary’s School) and 7.30 pm.
This year as we follow the Year A readings we begin with Matthew’s Gospel. Then from the 3rd Sunday of Lent we turn to John’s Gospel as we listen to three encounters that capture the great baptismal images that lead us to Easter: the woman at the well, the man born blind and the raising of Lazarus. Grace is the gift of the Holy Spirit that we first received through the waters of Baptism.
