IMPORTANT NOTICES (updated 4 December 2021)
ST MARY’S SCHOOL NEWS: Ms Anna Marsella, who has been principal since 2013, will be leaving St Mary’s at the end of this year. The parish community will have an opportunity to thank Anna at the 9.30 am Mass on Sunday 19 December.

SYDNEY COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS – LATEST UPDATE:
Sunday Masses: Vigil Mass 6.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday Masses are celebrated at 9.30 am and 6.00 pm. The 9.30 am Mass is also live streamed. All churches must now observe the “2 sqm Rule” that sets the capacity for a particular building. For St Mary’s Concord the limit is 300. There there is no need to book to attend Mass. It is still important to practice social distancing. Members of the same household can sit within the 2 sqm space. See the latest NSW Government rules: www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/stay-safe/rules

PLEASE NOTE: Everyone attending must wear a face mask, except when reading or presiding. 
All must check-in using the Service NSW App or by signing in using the parish record sheets.
Congregational singing is not permitted but a choir of up to 10 fully vaccinated people may sing.


VACCINATIONS:
Churches can welcome those who have NOT AS YET been fully vaccinated. However, it is important to note that significant Government Health restrictions remain in place for those who are not fully vaccinated.
For your own safety and for the safety of the community we urge all parishioners to be vaccinated as soon as possible.

Baptisms are now being celebrated on Sundays.
Contact the parish office for available dates.

FUNERALS: Funerals and Memorial Services are permitted. The extended numbers ONLY APPLY WHEN ALL PRESENT ARE FULLY VACCINATED. If even one person is unvaccinated, only ten people can be present.
WEDDINGS: Weddings are now permitted. Like funerals the new limit will apply only when all present are fully vaccinated. If anyone is present who is unvaccinated the limit is still set at 5 people.
The normal Government and Church requirements for notice still apply.

1st HOLY COMMUNION: Congratulations to the children who have recently celebrated 1st Holy Communion within a parish Sunday Mass. For more information please go to the Sacraments tab and look under Holy Communion.

MASS AT ST MARY’S CONCORD: Weekdays Monday to Friday at 8.30 am. Saturday (Vigil) at 6.00 pm and Sunday 9.30 am and 6.00 pm.

The appeal for the Charitable Works Fund (CWF) is currently being held. Donations of $2 or more are 100% tax deductible. See the parish bulletin (21 November 2021) for more details
