Celebrating our Sesquicentenary 1870 – 2020

Welcome to St Mary’s Catholic Church, Concord

Our Vision is to make Christ present in our parish, in our local community and in our world.

Our Mission is to know Christ and to make him known; to be a community committed to discovering Christ present in each person. We proclaim the Gospel through our ministry to each other, our service to the wider community, the joyful celebration of the Eucharist and other sacraments, and our active concern for social justice.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC (updated 4 April 2020)
St Mary’s Parish is following the health advice that is being provided by the Government and Church authorities.
All churches must remain closed and cannot be used even for private prayer. It obviously means that there are no Masses nor other devotions in the church until further notice.
All parish events and programs have been suspended. To help you to keep in touch with parish news, the latest parish bulletin can be found under the Publications tab on this Home page.
As we approach Holy Week and the celebration of Easter, many members of our community will feel even more isolated. One way to help us stay connected is to share in the Easter celebrations that will be live streamed or televised. Channel 7 will televise live the Good Friday service at 3.00 pm and Easter Sunday Mass at 10.30 am from St Mary’s Cathedral. The parish bulletin will give you up-to-date information.
Confirmation: all celebrations have been postponed; no dates are available for any future celebration of Confirmation.
First Holy Communion will not be celebrated in August. A date later in the year may be possible.
Contacting the Parish: The parish phones have recently been upgraded and voice mail is once again available. If your phone call is not answered, please leave a clear voicemail message for any urgent pastoral matters.
You can also contact the parish by email: parish@stmarysconcord.org.au.

The weekly bulletins can be found under the Publications tab at the top of this Home page. This week’s bulletin includes resources for praying with your family at home. Father Paul’s Reflections on the Sunday Readings may also be found under the Publications tab.
