Fr Paul Crowley

Parish Priest: Fr Paul Crowley B Theol, SLL

Fr Paul has been the Parish Priest of St Mary’s Concord since 8 January 1993.

Ordained for the Archdiocese of Sydney on 7 September 1974,  he served as an associate pastor in Stanmore, Naremburn (chaplain to the Royal North Shore Hospital) and North Ryde parishes before being asked in 1982 to undertake graduate studies in Liturgy at the Pontifical Liturgical Institute, S. Anselmo, in Rome. After returning from Rome in 1985 he served as the Director of Liturgy for the Archdiocese of Sydney and as a part-time lecturer in Liturgical Studies at the Catholic Institute of Sydney.

He was a member of the Australian Catholic National Liturgical Commission (1985-1997) and a representative of the Australian Catholic Church on the Australian Consultation on Liturgy (ACOL), a national ecumenical group (1987-1996).

Prior to his appointment as Parish Priest at St Mary’s Concord he was on the staff of St Mary’s Cathedral (1990-1992).
