St Mary's Parish is fortunate to have many volunteers who are actively involved in our parish community:

Our parish catechists go each week to Concord State Primary school to teach the Catholic children and  the CCD have a team of young adult catechists who present workshops at Concord High School.

A team of volunteers lead a Children's Liturgy of the Word on Sunday mornings.

Parish liturgical ministers assist at all parish Masses.

The Parish has an active team assisting  parents who are presenting a child for Baptism.

A team works with adult candidates for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

The Passionist Family Group movement have four active groups in the parish

Other parish groups include:

Faith Sharing Group - meet on Tuedays at 7.30 pm  in the chapel of St Mary's Villa

Italian Prayer Group - meet on Wednesday from 1.00 to 3.00 pm in the church
